Graduates of WOVEN are eligible to submit their portfolios for consideration for future Kindly Woven collections, alongside designers with previous commercial experience in the textile and home furnishings industry.
We accept submissions year-round, with selections based on our collection needs. While completing WOVEN does not guarantee a licensing opportunity, it provides a foundation for understanding the industry and preparing your work for commercial consideration.

With more than 33 years of experience in the textile and home furnishings industry, Laura brings a practical, behind-the-scenes perspective to the business of design.
Her career spans textile development, manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and working with brands and retailers to bring products to market.
Today, as the founder of Kindly Woven, she works directly with independent artists to transform original artwork into American-made woven textiles.
Through WOVEN, Laura shares the industry knowledge, practical insights, and lessons learned throughout her career to help designers better understand their opportunities and make informed decisions about building a creative business.
