She discovered surface design through sewing—first for her daughter, then for a children’s clothing line, and now through her company, Buue Studio. Inspired by vintage textiles, painterly details, and colors from nature and city life, her work blends warmth and elegance. Melissa's debut blanket for Kindly Woven, Addy, captures that spirit with a soft, abstract peony motif that feels both timeless and personal.
